Five Questions: Cincinnati

As Notre Dame's play in the Big East continues tonight against Cincinnati, I've asked my "Biggest Fan of the Big East" counterpart from Cincinnati, Jesse Smith, a few questions about Cincinnati basketball and the Big East!

What team are you most looking forward to playing in Big East?

The team I'm looking forward to playing currently is Syracuse because they are currently ranked #1 in the nation.

What is the biggest improvement Cincinnati has made this year from last year?

The biggest improvement is the team is playing better when they go small, last year I don't think they would have been able to play quality defense without all of their bigs available.

Who is your favorite player on the team?

Cashmere Wright, when he attacks the basket he helps everybody else get easy buckets. I like his game.

What quiet player will become a standout player before the year is over?

Right now if I was a betting man I'd say Jaquon Parker, he can do multiple things on the court and he seems to have more confidence this year. He's been a key since the crosstown shootout brawl.

What is the best part about playing in the Big East?

Best part about playing in the big east is every game is a challenge, you can't have a let down or any team can beat you.

BONUS QUESTION! What is your prediction for the score of the Notre Dame-Cincinnati game?

Lately the Irish have gave us trouble but since it's at 5/3 arena I'm predicting a 70-60 win by the Bearcats.
