And The Winner Is!

It has been 24-hours since the "Biggest Fan of the Big East" contest winner was announced, and I am still in shock. I knew that when I made the Final Four on Monday, that I at least had a 25% chance of winning this ... but did I really think I was going to win this? I don't know. All I do know, is that I was definitely talking myself out of the fact that I may actually win this thing, so that I wouldn't be totally crushed when Miggy took the prize!

So when the e-mail came yesterday, I was in my car driving home, and didn't even SEE it! I got a text from one of my fellow contestants which read "YOU WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and I seriously thought they were yanking my chain!

I quickly went and checked my e-mail ... and oh my gosh, there it was ... and the Volvo goes to Lisa from Notre Dame.

Wow. I literally cried. That was the best e-mail that I have received in a very long time!

So this is where it all started ...

And it's going to end here ... with me at the Big East Tournament Championship game, receiving the keys to my new Volvo on Center Court. Wow.



I simply cannot thank Volvo Cars US and the Big East Conference enough, for inviting me to take part in this wonderful journey, and for choosing me as the "Biggest Fan of the Big East." This is something that I will truly, never forget!

Okay ... stay tuned for the next blog post, documenting my trip to THE GARDEN for the Big East Tournament Championship game. I am so excited, I can hardly stand it!
